I really tried to hold back, but after I got on a server today, I have to write that:

EA - your BC2 classes are stupid!
The medic is not able to revive or to give first aid.
The engineer is not able to repair or to use a AT weapon.
The assault can not drop ammo-bags.

So from start on (until you get enough points together), you are not able to help your teammates.
You have to run around like the last useless peace of sh*t on the battlefield.
I wonder, that you are allowed to use vehicles!
And the stock-weapons suck!
The medic weapon is a joke - spraying and shaking like a old granny.
I did my most kills with knife. The only piece of material you can rely on in BC2!

And if they don't fix their crap, I will be off the hook!
Countdown for Punkbuster/Serverissues-fix is running.
And hell yeah - when I drop 50 EUR, I really get impatient!

Yeah, I agree that these basic "unlocks" should be part of the kit by default. But, it doesn't take very long at all unlock you get enough points together to unlock them (I think I had them all by rank 3 or 4).

The stock assault AK is bad, but I used it just enough to get the next unlock together.

The medic PKM is all I use for that kit. It's not great, but I think it's better than the others I have so far.

Engineer sub-machine gun is ok, not bad though

Recon M-24 is the best sniper rifle out of the first few you can unlock, so I use that the most.

Learning each guns strengths and weaknesses is what takes time. I find that I have to unthink what I knew in BF2 when using an LMG in this game. Would be nice to have a guide explaining things more.

I think once you EU guys get the connection issues worked out, you'll be happy with the game again.

What I really don't get is how the LMG are so accurate while running around.

I mean, come on, I'm crouching with my XM8 and a fckn enemy medic comes to me running and just nails me while I'm shooting him in bursts.

But the game is getting better now. I really have to learn another way of gameplay, cause BC2 is very different from BF2.

Server issues are still there, I tried like 20 server until finally getting one to load.

To be honest, I am much more of a defense player now because of the basic guns and equipment. I survive a lot longer being the 3rd or 4th man back, providing cover fire and picking off guys along the flanks. Find a good position along a main attack route and fire away.

The only weapon that bothers me in this game is the freekin KNIFE. Some people seem to have this magic ability to pull a knife out and slice me in a fraction of a second, but when I try it's this long process and takes like 3 seconds just to make a stab. WTF?

I don't play sniper classes. These pussies are sitting in the bushes and pee, while the real combat troupers try to push forward and get flags or destroy MCOMs.
Just my opinion! The only reason for me to pick up that class is C4 for blowing up MCOMs.
If I see, that I am in a Attacking team with more than 5 sbnipers, I switch ... and 90% win!


That freaking thing is my only life insurance as long as I don't get online for longer than 5 seconds.
Yesterday, I desperately started the SP missions again.

My favorite class now is ENGINEER.
The stock engi weapon is like the most useful at the beginning.
It's very accurate with a great rof but with kind of a small magazine.
Anyways I ended up pwning with that gun.

I switched from the PKM to the saw now. Better rate of fire for those up close and personal battles.

Sniping isn't bad in this game. I tend to spot A LOT of enemies and only kill a few, so most of my points as Recon are from assists and spots.

Assault the prototype weapon is the best out of the first 3. But tonight I was getting wrecked by some high ranker with an M16. Amazing the difference.

The Engineer Scar is nice and find that to be the best sub-machine gun that I have.

Fipz I have been digging the engineer too. You can destroy and repair tanks with ease and I agree, the SMGs are pretty beastly.

Haven't really played medic or assualt at all. The sniper class is really fun and I feel like it's generous enough with headshots.

lol you PC'ers, how many of you upgraded your rig's just to play BC2?

I've been having a grand ol' time on my PS3. Got the Tommy and Garry unlocked, all my vehicle unlocks, and since I got the limited edition, I could use pretty much all the "Class Assets" like the medic bag and what not. I just reached level 10 (Sgt Third Class?) last night.

And you have stupid small servers on your console matches, cause you cant handle 32 players *LOOOOOOOOOL*
Oh ... and the graphics are nerved, because you don't have DirectX10 or 11

The gfx aren't that bad Pete. Of course they'd be better if I was playing on an HD TV which I don't have (kill me).

The amount of players are good enough. It keeps the...chaos...to a minimum.
